The Fetch! Pet Care Pathway to Ownership

Starting a new business is a wonderful and, at times, stressful journey. That’s why we at Fetch! Pet Care® have tried to make it as easy as possible. We can move as quickly or as slowly as you need. Here you can see the typical track someone follows as they prepare to open their own Fetch! Pet Care location.

Step 1: Complete our online application.

Once you know a little about us, we’d like to learn more about you! Franchising is a special partnership so, it’s important that we are comfortable with each other and willing to grow the brand and prosper together.

Timeframe: 10 minutes

Step 2: Watch our online informational video.

This will give you a better understanding of the Fetch! Pet Care business model. You’ll be able to see Fetch! Pet Care in action and get some of your initial questions answered.

Timeframe: 45 minutes

Step 3: Review our franchise packet.

To give you a more detailed understanding of how your Fetch! Pet Care franchise would operate and what’s required of you, we’ll forward you our Franchise Disclosure Document that contains our franchise agreement for your review.

Timeframe: 5-7 days

Step 4: Define your protected territory.

Our franchise sales team will work with you to define your protected territory which contains at least 50,000 households. The demographics for the proposed protected territory are reviewed with you.

Timeframe: 1 hour

Step 5: Return your franchise agreement and payment.

We will provide your franchise agreement with customized schedules describing the particulars for your franchise. You’ll return that along with the franchise fee of $6,000 which is among the lowest investment in the pet/franchise industry. This will hold your spot in our next training class and establish your opening date. That’s right, it’s tail waggin’ time.

Timeframe: 1 hour

Step 6: Attend franchise training in Dayton, Ohio.

Your Fetch! Pet Care franchise fee includes the pet care industry’s most comprehensive training curriculum. An all-encompassing, four-day on-site training is followed by in-depth interaction with the Fetch! Pet Care Franchise Support Center team to get your business launched and running successfully.

Timeframe: 4 days

Step 7: Open your Fetch! Pet Care® location.

Our Franchise Support Center team stands paw to paw with you to get your pet business up and running. No one in the pet care industry offers the variety and scope of ongoing assistance and support you receive from Fetch! Pet Care. As a Fetch! Pet Care franchise owner, you have the opportunity to learn and share through weekly strategy sessions with company management, attend web conference franchise roundtable sessions, receive monthly franchise newsletters, share experiences and ideas with other franchisees in our online franchisee discussion group, access timely information and updated documents through our private franchisee intranet and knowledge base, and receive daily support as needed from our professional Franchise Support Center team who are available by phone, email, and web-based teleconferencing.

Timeframe: 4 weeks

Total timeframe: 9 weeks
